16th Pacific Century Fellow class selected

Jonathan Mitchell from Parker Ranch is one of 37 men and women who’ve been chosen to participate in The Pacific Century Fellows program. It identifies, encourages and helps to develop and strengthen island leaders.

Modeled after the White House Fellows Program, it will provide participants with direct contact with senior community, social and government leaders. A goal is to explore creative and constructive solutions to far-reaching challenges facing the state and nation. The participants will also interact with other emerging leaders in the Pacific through the East West Center and alliance with the Marianas Chapter of the Pacific Century Fellows.

The program will begin with a two-day retreat Sept. 29 and 30, to plan the agenda and schedule for the upcoming year.
